Travel to the Isle of Man

The strong advice from both the CGF and the OC is that you need to move on this quickly in order to secure seats on flights to the Isle of Man at acceptable rates or places on the appropriate ferries to tie in with your arrival into the UK. There are no flights to the Isle of Man from London Heathrow airport therefore your travel plans need to take this into account. Your choices are limited and our advice would be to look at the ferry options in the first instance. We are sure that this route would add to the overall experience for the young athletes taking part in these Commonwealth Youth Games. 

Each CGA is responsible for their own travel arrangements to the Isle of Man however, in order to assist you with this the OC has appointed a local travel agent, Regency Travel. Richard met with many CGAs during the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010 where he advised them of the best route (direct and most economical) to the UK.
